CERAMIC TILES II
This is an in-progress cartoon of a linear, more abstract pattern. Inspired by Oriental images of waves breaking over stones, this would be fired in a bold blue on a white body.
WAVES AND PEBBLES
IZNIK INSPIRED 4" by 4" quarter image tile that forms a circular motif in an 8" by 8" area that integrates with matching field tiles
Black on white drawing: the black lines and areas would be fired in cobalt blue, on white and the other elements would be hand colored using the palettes of the the antique originals.
